Records of Mt. Zion (Cornelia) Cemetery, Harrison Township, Grant County, WI, show Arch McClain was born in 1882 and died November 15, 1949, at age 67. His wife, Ida E. McClain, shown as born in 1882 and died in 1978. Her husband is buried there also. Their children "infant son of Arch and Ida McClain," born October 10, 1912, died October 15, 1912; and Kenneth John McClain, born 1919, died 1920, are buried at this cemetery also.

More information about the children of Archie and Ida McClain was received from Heather Friede in 1998.
