George T. Miller (nicknamed Bud or Buddy) and his wife lived for many years at 49 Grand Avenue, Oroville, California 95965.

An e-mail from his daughter, Peggy Bergmann, reported his death in January 2000. His obituary appeared in the "Enterprise Record" of Chico, California, on January 12 and 13, 2000, which was found on the internet in January 2000 at http://www.chicoer.com/archives. The obituary reads: "George Miller. Oroville - A Mass of Christian Burial for George Thomas Miller, 84, of Oroville, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. He died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at a local hospital. Miller was born April 4, 1915, in New York. He was a welder/boiler maker for 45 years. He moved here from New York in 1969. He loved making things with his hands. His wife, Margaret Ann, died in 1990. He is survived by two daughters, Ann Cook of Oroville and Peggy Bergman of Wappinger Falls, N.Y.; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery will follow the service. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at Oroville Funeral Home. A vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Thomas. Arrangements are under the direction of Oroville Funeral Home."
