An email from Phyllis Munsey in 1999 advised that she recalled Ella Drury very well. Her family visited Ella's in Berkley, California. She advised that she had cousins, Aubrey and Newton, and two girls - Muriel, and another whose name she could not remember at that time. They were much older than she was. Newton was head of the State Park System in California for many years, and he and Aubrey had an advertising business in San Francisco.

The California death index on the internet in November 2000 showed Newton Bishop Drury, whose mother's maiden name is not shown in this index, was born April 9, 1889, in California and died December 14, 1978, in Alameda County, California, at age 89 and that his Social Security number was 561-01-1524. It is highly probable that this Newton Drury was the son of Wells Drury and Ella Bishop.
