A 1999 email from Phyllis Munsey advised that the first-born child of Franklin Curtis Bishop and Mabel Reimer had been a daughter named Virginia Belle Bishop and that she was delivered by Dr. Simeon Bishop, Franklin's father, but was stillborn.

The California birth index on the internet as of November 2000 at http://userdb.rootsweb.com/ca/birth/search.cgi showed that Virginia B. Bishop was born March 26, 1912, in San Francisco County, California, and that her mother's maiden name was Reimer.
