Notes for Mabel REIMER

The California death index online in November 2000 at http://userdb.rootsweb.com/ca/death/search.cgi showed that Mable Bertha Bishop, whose mother's maiden name was Schoenberger and whose father's name was Reimer, was born March 27, 1886, in California and died December 21, 1951, in Los Angeles County, California.

A 1999 email from Phyllis Munsey advised that her father, Franklin Curtis Bishop, was born April 10, 1882, in Reno. He was the youngest of the family by 10 years. He married Mabel Reimer in 1909 in San Francisco, where she was born. The Bishop family had ended up in San Francisco after having left the Mother Lode country where they went when Simeon was no longer the head of the Insane asylum. She advised that her mother died in l951, and her father died in l964.
