An e-mail from Lynn McElroy in January 2000 advised her mother, Cleo Palmer Bresnick, recalled that William Melville Palmer, whose nickname was Nig, was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on May 10, 1988, and died in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1953.
