Her name is listed as Caroline Maria Langeberg born Thurtell in the death notice of her father, Horace Clark Thurtell, who died June 16, 1901, in Willowmore, South Africa, so she must have married Rupert Langeberg before that date. She is shown as Caroline Maria Susannah Langeberg born Thurtell in the death notice of her mother, Gertrude Elizabeth Thurtell, born Pitout, who died February 9, 1912, in Willowmore.
