The 1880 U.S. Census for Groton, Caledonia County, Vermont, on page 142, ED 45, shows Aaron Frost as a married farmer, age 50, born in Vermont, with both his parents born in Maine. The other members of his household and their parents are all shown as born in Vermont. His wife is listed as Rachel Frost, age 44, whose occupation is keeping house. His children are all shown as single. His son Isaac Frost is shown as 17 with no occupation listed. His daughters, Mahala Frost age 15 and Olive Frost age 13, are shown as at school. His sons, Aaron Frost Jr. age 11 and Orange Frost age 8, and his daughter, Adda Frost age 5, are also shown as at school. His son Charles Frost, age 2, is not yet in school.
