Notes for Charles MORRISON

Reverend Rufus Emery's 1890 book, "Genealogical Records of Descendants of John and Anthony Emery of Newbury, Mass." showed that Charles Morrison (person 1122) was born December 25, 1790, in Sanford, Maine, the son of Betsey Emery and Bradbury Morrison, and that he married first, Sally Rhodes; second, Elizabeth Crown; and third, Sally Page. It shows he died April 1, 1867.

Charles Morrison and his family are listed on page 130 of the 1850 U.S. Census for Groton, Caledonia County, Vermont. He is shown as a farmer, age 60, born in Maine, with real estate valued at $300. With him are Elizabeth Morrison, age 52, born in Vermont; Mary Morrison, age 23; Sarah, age 15; and Abagail age 14, all born in Vermont.
