Notes for Elizabeth THURTELL

Information received from Peter Murray in 1997 shows that Elizabeth Thurtell, daughter of John and Elizabeth Thurtell, was baptised October 25, 1734, at Trowse Newton (Archdeacon's Transcript). She is not mentioned in her father's will in 1767 and so may not then have been alive. The will mentions a John Bayner, then underage, who was grandson of the testator and therefore possibly her son. Provision was made for his upkeep until the age of twenty-one under the care of the grandmother Elizabeth.
