Records of Greenwood Cemetery, Grant County, Wisconsin, show Anne Thurtell Folts and her husband, Ranson B. Folts, are buried there. These records show Anne was born September 24, 1844, and died July 4, 1912.

There is a notice in the "Grant County Herald," of March 30, 1869, on page 3 in column 3 about the marriage of Anna Thurtell to R. B. Folts in Jamestown on March 22, 1869. This notice is indexed in the book "Memorable Happenings in the Grant County Herald, 1843-1869" and is the only mention of anyone with the last name Thurtell or Thurtle in this book according to a lookup request done in 1999.
