Notes for Henry THURTELL

According to the History of the Thurtell family done by Susan Persia Thurtell about 1968 and information from the Norwich Public Library, Henry Thurtell died about 1828 by falling overboard at Canton, China. Information received from Peter Murray in 1997 shows he was master at arms of an Indiaman, the Atlas, and that he fell overboard and drowned at Canton, China.
