The 1963 Thurtell Family History and the History of the Thurtell Family done by Susan Persia Thurtell about 1968 show Thomas Hicks Sharp drowned in Speed River, Guelph, Ontario, Canada, in 1921 at age 13. Information received from Charlotte Mackie in 1997 showed that he died Jul 18, 1921, drowning at Goldies Dam, Guelph, and is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
