The listing of births and deaths of the Morrison family copied from a Bible in the 1930's showed Sarah B. Morrison was born May 14, 1867. Records of the Groton Town Clerk, Caledonia County, Vermont, researched in 1997 for Susan Miller by Jim Dresser (Jim@@Dresser.net) show the correct date of birth for Sarah B. Morrison was April 2, 1867.

The 1870 U.S. Census for Groton, Caledonia County, Vermont, on page 72A, lists Timothy Morrison as a white male age 65, born in Vermont, and a farmer with real estate valued at $3000 and a personal estate valued at $700, and eligible to vote. Living with him is Sarah B. Morrison, a white female age 44 who was born in Vermont and whose occupation is keeping house. None of the parents of either of them were of foreign birth. With them, all born in Vermont, are Jackson W. Morrison, a white male age 12, Martha J. Morrison, a white female age 10, Austin N. Morrison, a white male age 8, and Sarah B. Morrison, a white female age 3. The three older children are all in school.
