Notes for Marion Maria BROWNE

The family tree done by Harriet Thurtell about 1900 and the History of the Thurtell Family done by Susan Persia Thurtell about 1968 show Mary Browne married Wylie.

Information received from Peter Murray in 1997 shows that the Thurtell family in Guelph, Canada, possess a photo of Marion Maria Browne and Annie Emma Louisa Browne, taken March 1864 at Fergus, Canada West, who must be these two daughters of Edward Browne. Their marriages presumably took place in South Africa since the family apparently relocated in 1864 to South Africa.
